From here, you can browse from our available adaptors and extension leads.

All of our adaptors and extension leads are hand assembled and fully tested for safety. Every item will come with a laminated A5 printout of the PAT results you can keep in the car.

Our extension leads come supplied with a heavy-duty 1″ / 25mm wide velcro strap with pull tab allowing you to keep the leads neat and tidy.

Please note: All prices shown here are inclusive of VAT at 20% if applicable and you’ll receive a VAT invoice along with your order.

For purchases made from the EU, as a result of Brexit, pricing is exclusive of UK VAT at 20%. You will not be charged any VAT or tax equivalent. However, you may have to pay tax and import charges in addition to what Xavelec charge. Xavelec does not have any control over this and will not be held accountable for any additional import duties. The HS code used for all our products is 8544.42.

Our EVSE

We now offer a very powerful and flexible EVSE (EV Supply Equipment) which is effectively a UMC replacement. This could be an ideal solution if you want a spare UMC or you have an EV which did not come with an EVSE.

Our bundle packages

Bundle packages provide a collection of items at a discounted price compared to buying each item individually. You can build your own custom bundle to match your exact requirements.

Bundles are available for both the legacy Gen1 UMC and supports the full 11kW three-phase power, and the newer Gen2 UMC supplied with all new Tesla cars. We supply bundles using both the Standard industrial CEE Commando plugs and sockets and our own fully waterproof and space-saving Compact range of adaptors and extension leads.

Our range of adaptors

We offer two ranges of adaptors, a standard one using 16A 3-phase (red) and single-phase (blue) industrial connectors, and a smaller Compact range. All our adaptors from both ranges interconnect with the Tesla 16A 3-phase red adaptor for Gen1 UMCs and the Tesla 16A blue adaptor for the Gen2 UMC. One of these is therefore required to connect to any of our adaptors and extension leads.

The 22kW Xavelec EVSE

Our EVSE supports all levels of power including three-phase. Up to 22kW is available (32A 3-phase) providing the supply and your EV’s onboard charger support it.

Pre-facelift Tesla Model S and X cars support either 11kW or 22kW if they were equipped with “twin chargers”. Facelift cars support either 11kW or 16.5kW (24A 3-phase) if fitted with the “high speed” charger. All recent Model S and X cars (2018 onwards) should have the high speed charger as standard.

Tesla Model 3 cars support a maximum of 11kW charge speed (there is no upgrade available to increase this to 16.5kW or 22kW).

Our EVSE is available as a standalone unit or can be purchased with your preferred selection of adaptors and extension leads.

In addition to the flexible connector options, the EVSE supports current-limiting directly at the EVSE level and supercedes and setting set in the car. This can be useful when using lower-powered supply sources and sockets. Multiple current options are available, from 6A all the way to 32A.

A time delay feature is also available allowing you to delay your charge in hours if you wanted to take advantage of cheaper night rate power or start charging only when the load elsewhere in your house is lower.

The Compact range

Our Compact range offers a smaller, fully waterproof and easier to manage set of adaptors compared to the Standard range.

If you have a legacy Gen1 UMC, our Compact Red UMC adaptor is required to interface to the 16A 3-phase red Tesla Gen1 UMC connector which is also required.

If you have a Gen2 UMC, our Compact Blue UMC adaptor is required to interface to the 16A blue Tesla Gen2 UMC connector which is also required.

The Standard range

The standard range uses the industry standard IEC 60309 connectors which offer rugged, reliable IP44 / splashproof connections.

If you have a legacy Gen1 UMC, you will require the 16A 3-phase red Tesla Gen1 UMC connector to interface with the UMC.

If you have the more recent Gen2 UMC, you will require the 16A blue Tesla Gen2 UMC connector to interface with the UMC.

Following popular demand, we have added 32A single-phase extension leads for use with the 32A blue UMC connector and can also provide some heavy duty UK extension leads for use with the Tesla-suppled 3-pin UK plug adaptor.

Please note however that both of these types of leads are incompatible with our adaptors.
